FAQ

I use only the best quality, 100% biodegradable latex balloons, as well as mylar foil balloons. Helium filled balloons are coated with a glue that extends the life of the balloon from 18-48 hours, and sometimes even longer. Balloon installations will last anywhere from 1 day to months, depending on the conditions.

Complete the Event Inquiry. The more information and details you can provide me, the better! I aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.

I will get in touch with you to go over all the details and answer any questions. When you are ready to proceed with payment, I will send you an invoice and payment options. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. 

While deposits are non-refundable, if you need to cancel or reschedule your event I will place a credit to your account to be used in the future.

The removal of balloons from venues is the client's responsibility unless previously agreed upon by Punky Lou Designs and the client. At the end of your event (or the life of the balloon(s)), cut the end of the balloon(s) with scissors to remove any air or helium, then dispose of the balloon(s) in the trash. The latex balloons we use are biodegradable. NEVER release balloons into the environment (sky or water).

Deflated or burst balloons can present a choking hazard and should never be left with children or animals without supervision. Be mindful of balloon ribbons, as they can also pose a tangling threat to children and animals without proper supervision.

For an additional fee, I will come to remove the balloons. Price varies based on size of the job and distance.

While I use the best quality balloons on the market, balloons remain fragile in nature. Punky Lou Designs will not be held accountable for the condition of such items after they have been handed over in good condition. This includes, but is not limited to: damage, leakage, burst, improperly handled/transported/stored items, exposure to heat or cold temperatures, exposure to wind or other outdoor elements, sharp edge items, etc. However, if WE pop your balloon, it will be replaced at no charge or a refund will be issued if I'm unable to get a replacement in time.

In general, balloons do not like heat and they do not perform well in the Texas heat. I recommend keeping balloons out of direct sun light. Lighter colors do best in the sun, but all colors will oxidize (lose their shine) VERY quickly in warmer temperatures. Helium is very sensitive to extreme heat and cold, and the lifespan of your balloons could be affected by the temperature of your house or the weather outside.
